I've been happily using up my stash of soaps for the past couple years and still have over a years worth left but I realized everything left in my stash is unobtainium now. There's a puck of tallow Haslinger Schafmilch (which I do plan to use this winter), a tallow AOS sandalwood, about a half dozen Wilkinson Sword sticks (which I'll save for traveling), and a few pucks of Williams (vintage and modern). I got a tub of Noble Otter. I've never used anything from them before so I'm looking forward to trying it. Also got a tub of Sterling Orange Chill. It's been a long time since I've used any Sterling and it'll probably wait until spring or summer.
Haslinger and AOS went the way of Mitchell's Wool Fat? Unobtanium has become an obsolete concept as far as shaving soaps go. For every soap that is discontinued, there are now equally good alternatives to take its place. There are a vast number of shaving soaps available. It is really amazing. Hope you enjoy your newly acquired soaps!
