The LaToja Shave Stick was face-lathered well with Tom's 3D Printed Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Gillette NEW DeLuxe and Black Razor and the Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Duru Cologne. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Personally I think you made the right choice. I love the fat Tech handle, I've never been a fan of the New Bar handle.
Personal preference of course.

thank you Greg.while the 1930's open combs are my favourite gillettes,the bar handle was my least favourite,mostly due to weight.

Thanks. I have several. This one is a replate I acquired already replaced. I have both with and without the plus signs on the bottom of the blade tray. What i still want to find is a case in good shape that says HEAVY on the top. Haven't found one in reasonably good shape for a decent price. I very rarely care about the case. And I tend to pick up razors that are good user grade.
