Thanks. I have several. This one is a replate I acquired already replaced. I have both with and without the plus signs on the bottom of the blade tray. What i still want to find is a case in good shape that says HEAVY on the top. Haven't found one in reasonably good shape for a decent price. I very rarely care about the case. And I tend to pick up razors that are good user grade.

(1st use of a vintage razor, picked up from ebay yesterday for 25 + shipping)

I do, very much. I got very close to BBS on my 1st 3 pass shave. It looks nice too. I did notice the handle screws in loose but tightens up ok at the end. I cleaned it with hot water then polished it up with one of those TRC polish rags and it looks even better. I used an Astra blade for the 3rd time and although not too much irritation happened, a little more than I like did occur. Seems I always get at least a little irritation no matter what I do! Next time I’ll use a sharper blade and maybe forgo the 3rd ATG pass. I’m now jonesing for another vintage razor and considering a fatboy, just to have one, although open combs and slants are my preference, recommendations welcome, thanks!

 

awesome.try a 2 pass shave ,keep the same blade if still good.new lc and sc tend to take a bit to get used to..your skin takes time(shaves) to adjust.plus 1 blade will feel different in different razors.have fun with it.
