Very sorry to see this news. I suppose if participation has been declining, something like this must be discussed, if not dealt with.

It will, but I'll just have to REMEMBER it-keep it with me(the valuable info on here, that is).

I'm sorry to hear that here is closing.. I am only really active on a few forums and I liked this one ... The other one I normally go to that is " similar " to here would the The Shaving Cadre... It is a " Self Moderated " forum with many of the same interest as we have here... I hope that after this site is sadly gone that I will continue to see you guys over there at https://theshavingcadre.com/ .... If you have not checked it out please do...

I echo the sentiment of all the others here, who will be sad to see TSD go, but of course, wish you well. I have been the recipient of knowledge, generosity and kindness here. I thank you @Queen of Blades and all who have participated.

This is very sad to me. This has been my "shaving home" for many years. I shall miss the fellowship.

Has anyone thought of taking over? I'm not savvy enough to do it.

Joanna and Sparky, I want to thank you for hosting the TSD site. I came on this site on Dec 21, 2018. It's almost seven years that I have thankfully taken in all the knowledge from my fellow wetshavers here. It is ironic because the number 7 is the sign of completion. I made some awesome friends here and will never forget them. I wish you and Sparky all the best. Sincerely, Trigger.

Sad news, I have been a member since 2012 and made some good friends and greatly improved my shaves. I will miss TSD
