Another damage free shave, although I must say the Astra on Day 6 was starting to show its age: more strokes per area were needed which is always a sign the blade is fading and one runs the risk of going over each area too often which leads to damage. Nevertheless I seldom get 6 good shave per blade, so thumbs up for the St Petersburg factory

The Palmolive Menthol Shave Cream was face-lathered well with Jayaruh#2 Two-band Badger Brush. Two Passes and touch ups with the Schick G 66 Injector Razor and the Personna Injector Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Humphrey's Witch Hazel and Mennen Skin Bracer After Shave. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Mama mia it’s been a little while since I’ve used a Glacial setup and it actually shook me up a bit - my eyes were tearing and the lather felt borderline painful but I enjoyed the sensation so much. This Glacial Citron soap and aftershave smell absolutely GORGEOUS. Three passes gave me an awesome BBS shave that was such a pleasure!

Continuing my use of the Indian SC package, this week is Axe Denim. I have not cared for Axe products but thought I should be open minded. So off I went and it wasn't bad. The scent is mild, lather is pretty good and a nice shave was had. Also used Barbershop Aid in place of my usual Osage Rub/Witch Hazel mix. It works well and is quite soothing. All in all, a nice start to the week. Now go enjoy you day folks.

The Proraso Sensitive Shaving cream always provides me with slick protective lather leaving an equally good post shave feel.

The EJ DE89/Personna Platinum Chrome duo continued to impress me with it's smooth efficiency, slicing through my face stubble with effortless ease.

Finishing the shave off with a few small dollops of Nivea Men Replenishing PSB.
