I know why the site does now ban people. The owner does not have enough paid people on the site to not have a job other then run the site as when you are signed in ads go away. The owner's big issue is the refusal to fix this flaw as this person does not know how to remove code/change parts if using a hosting platform for the website only adding code. the person current person is the same one who is running the sales part of Badger & Blade that is basically not selling items but still accepting money do a good job of selling the items on the storefront, they take a year to get to you if you even get them at all since mid to late 2010's. Also, the person running is since X time was running the store for Bager & Blade who went anonymous to avoid dealing with overseas when rules came out in Europe to protect the buyer and sellers on others websites so the person running the site went dark with a logo that is still on the sales part saying under new management.
I am in the midst of setting the site up now - you can still go and register at your leisure, although the forum design and layout WILL change. I have only been setting it up for a few hours but I am keen to get people registering in earnest. Please also welcome the first moderator to sign up - Vittoria - a well known member on here.. By the way guys - its totally independent of Alpha Shaving - its not a way for me to plug my own stuff. not at all.
My signup was successful, hope the NEW Forum offer an alternative to some of the other Forum with too many argument v/s intelligent discussions. JMHO

Of course I want to tone down the brightness. It’s early days yet. Call it a soft start. I want to be 100% ready by New Year’s Day.
I am heartbroken...this has been MY US-Forum since i started my classic Wetshaving journey in 2012. It was so cozy to login in here with all the nice people i´ve met here. You welcomed me in a way that i never expected. I am from Germany and i visit "The Shave Den" A LOT more often than our German Shaving Forum. I still can remember my first post here and still know your welcoming, warm words following. Knowing that a Forum is not easy to manage, but isn´t there a way we can save this fantastic place? The Shave Nook was quite a good forum too, but THIS is a treasure. The design of the page, the people here, this should not be lost...Badger and Blade is ok, but too big and too "cold" for my liking. Here it is so "familiar" with all of you guys... Thank you for hosting this wonderful place for this long. Your work, your time, your passion...THANK YOU Can we all do anything to keep this place alive? Please... Just to be sure, not to loose a few friends here, i just subscribed to the new forum.
