I just called the Body Shop nearest me and am informed they have a dozen or so old formula shave cream tubs left. On sale for $4 apiece. These used to cost $16 before taxes so this is a great deal. Of course many of your stores may have tubs left at the same or better prices. But if not and you'd like a tub let me know. I'm planning to head over on Saturday and pick some up...can't pass up this deal. If this generates any interest I will divey them out on a first post first serve basis and depending on how many I'm able to get. I'll send these out at cost + shipping so prob. in the neighborhood of $7 (pay pal bank transfer). If you've never tried it this is a superb shaving cream. Not everyone likes the smell, but I think it's quite nice. Kind of cinnamony and spicy IMO.
How does it differ from the new formulation? I have a new tub of Maca Root cream, and I love that stuff! Endless thick, creamy, moisturizing lather -- and still a bargain in my book at $16 for a 6.3 oz tub.
It's just a different forumla. No Maca Root for one thing. Couldn't say what the other differences are. It's good stuff though. And I agree, I don't think $16 is that bad a deal; but $4 is even better!!!

Hmmm.... I need to see if theres a store close. I want some more. I picked up a tub for $7 in the after holiday sale and wasnt fond of the smell. Now its grown on me and I love it. I dont like the Maca root smell. According to the lady who works there, maca root is a sexual aphrodesiac.
That's exactly how I feel about the new one...the smell has really grown on me. Now, it smells like shaving.
I could commit the $7 even but I'm not paying $16 to find out if it grows on me. I'll have to just go and buy a butt load more of the old stuff.
Hi all! First post in here. It seems that they sell out the old stuff worldwide. Same her in Germany in the TBS stores. 4 EUR for 100ml. I like the old formula very much, creamy lather, nice shave.

I'll probably be heading over there today. I have it in the back of my mind to clean them out of the tubs and tubes if they have any. We'll see how the pocketbook feels today. I've got you all penciled in. Maca Root is an aphrodisiac grown in the high mountains of Peru by Indian tribes. They use it for cooking and other household uses. When ingested in quantity it is supposed to turn on the libido. Apparently back in the ancient times the Kings had to curtail its use because their soldiers would go on raping rampages in conquered villages. So try not to lick your brush or your wives might be in trouble!
