Recently (last 30 days I think) someone posted a thread with a link to handmade and unusual shave brushes with antlers, wood and even resin. I would love to find that site. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you.
The shop where I bought my '50 SS has a Superman brush. White synthetic bristles, blue plastic handle, and the Superman insignia.
That is a nice one Steve. Is it yours? Looks like a fertility idol. I would probably spend too much time in the bathroom with it though.
Talking about an unusual brush! Unusual shave brushes? How about a skunk hair brush? Smooth and gentle to your skin, not your nose! Poor Pepe Le Pew! Click Here D:
Nope, sold on line in an antique auction a few years ago. It was part of a long running "Kent" joke some time ago. :shocked002
That's horrific. Excellent link, JimR - some beautiful equipment on that site. My girlfriend is love with this handle: http://www.tjrakowski.com/contents/media/P1000479.jpg
Haven't seen them but I can only imagine the drab outdated Lismore cut handle toped with an average quality knot that would come loose after about a month that would cost about $300.
The long, slim shape reminds me of a Alberto Giacometti sculpture. I'd post a photo, but apparently I need at least '5' post to do that.
