I know Blue Monkey didn't invent bullfrogging, but it was he who I heard about this technique from. Somehow, the image of a monkey with blue hair performing this technique always stuck in my mind (actually, in my mind he looks a little more like Grape Ape but with blue hair...). And I want to give props where props are due. :D

Anyway, for the noobs who have never heard of it, it is when you tuck your chin in and tilt your head down slightly to puff out your neck. It changes the shape of your neck (obviously) to aid in getting areas that can be a problem.

For a while I scoffed at it, and didn't think it would help. I even tried it once way back when and it didn't help at all. I think that's because my shaving technique was poor all around. Well, the other day I tried it again and WOW! I was able to get BBS in an area that had totally eluded me with out serious burn and irritation. So I had learned to live without the BBS. It finally dawned on me that my neck is concave - ) and here I am trying to use something straight - |. So think /) and you can see why I could never get very close.

So...... I hope anyone who has difficulty with their neck, under the jawline, etc.. will give it a try. I wish I hadn't waited so long to try it again.

Thanks again Blue Monkey for introduction to bullfrogging and for the visual! :D :happy088

So where do the spotlights, gigs, and drawstring bags come in?

hmmmmm.. I haven't had frog legs in years....

Seriously... sounds like it might be worth a try. Not really having neck problems other than one patch that a diagonal stroke instead of a straight ATG stroke will take care of.

Seriously... where can I get some frog legs?

I can box some up for you and send them out....:sick007

I have not seen frog legs on a buffet. But octopus... yup, and it wasn't that bad.

The octopus at the one I go to is...First, it's cold. :sick007 Second, I don't like the marinade they use. But the frog legs and squid are good. The squid isn't done in Italian calamari style (chopped and fried), but it's good.

I don't recall either being cold or with marinade. But has been years since I had it. I have gone back to that place many a time and it was never there again.

Now that this thread is completely hijacked....

Back in my dark bait fishing days I used to catch Bullfrogs on panfish poppers and flies when the Bass quit biting worms. If you dangle anything that looks to be a bug in front a a frog they'll eat it. In fact I think I caught frogs on fly gear before I caught my first fish with fly fishing gear!
