Was just looking for something at basenotes, and saw this article. Thought I'd share the link.

    Bay Rum

Just a sentimental type article, not informative or anything.

That is a neat article. You kind of get drawn back in to the author's youth visiting the barber. :) Crazy what kind of memories a scent can induce.

Wow I cant believe you dont like that smell, I recently just got back into using Clubman talc after forgetting about it for a few years. I sprinkle some on a soft towel and get the back of my neck with it, I wish everything smelled like this. Im thinking of using it as carpet fresh.

Did I read somewhere in another post that you like Pinaud Bay Rum ? Now that stuff makes me sick, I recently purchased a bottle of it and got rid of it the next day. That turned me off to bay rums, Only recently with the help of TSD Bay Rum milk am I slowly getting the nerve to sample other Bay Rums.

^^^^^^^^^ Wonders how anyone can despise either Clubman Talc or Pinaud Bay Rum.

Bay Rum is just one of those wonderful scents... Heck, I'm not all that old and it brings back good memories for me!
