I have a GT and it was custom painted and took about 2 weeks for delivery. But I have not used it in a while. I have also bought some items from Dirty Bird and if I had to make a choice would probably buy a scuttle from Dirty Bird. They are a much smaller company and cater more to customer needs and excellent to deal with.
I'm a fan of Dirty Bird -- they look and feel great. Though I have been thinking about investing in a GT . . . Yeah, my answer is: Buy Both!

I have the GT V3 and its nice and pretty but holds 3/4 cup of water which is honestly very poor for a scuttle. If I used boiling water it works good but the actual bowl retains heat well from when I am soaking my brush. Dirty bird is better but not as pretty IMHO.

I use the one my wife made for me in her pottery shop. I think it is the best and just adds to the overall shaving experience for me just because she made it for me.
