1. Is this possible or did someone get their data skewed? Check out this interesting perspective on the attractiveness of being non-clean-shaven.
  2. This has been discussed before, though I'm not sure if it was at this forum. Basic conclusion was the sample size was too small to make any conclusions. If it showed anything, it was simply the opinion of a women in a small area of England have a slight preference to stubble (and that's just an indication, not anything firm). Even if a slight majority of women feel this way, based on how most me shave, the very large minority of women who like a smooth face aren't being accomodated sufficiently.
  3. Personally I think its a reaction by the mainstream men to the sky high price of cartridges. Proctor and Gamble Gillette is determined to make shaving as expensive as possible.
  4. Stubble is good. I like having a few days' growth from time to time.

An excellent wet-shaving tool with which to maintain one's stubble is the Gillette Trim Razor. I can't readily find a pic online, but it's a disposable razor (comes in packs of several) with a comb-head affixed to the cutting edge.
  5. Simply, I hate stubble on myself. So, I take every day a shave, to be as smooth as possible. Some shaves are better than others, but mostly, my shaves are good.
  6. I don't get any if I have stubble.

    Doc.
  7. My 8 month old daughter cries if I kiss her with stubble infested cheeks. And my wife won't let me anywhere near her unless I'm clean shaven. So the experts closest to me have handed down their ruling- who am I to disagree? These other folks can do all the studies they want. I'm sticking with daily shaving.
  8. I always kiss my daughter after a shave--she loves it, and she rubs her sweet little face against me! She tell me, "Papa, I love your shave, and you smell so nice!" She is a :angelic010 :love008 My 125 pound German Shepherd, who is her bodyguard always wants to kiss me also, after I shave! :happy102 :happy102
  9. i dont know about the rest of you but i like to wait a day or two some times just to let it grow out and have a nice shave. my only problem is i dont have my straight yet. so i have to go to a barber and i usualy get a cut and shave the only problem there is it is too expensive but always worth it... easy come, easy go.
  10. My wife loves when I have a two day growth. Problem is that I don't like the way I look with whiskers, so I now shave 6 days a week, much to her chagrin.
  11. I hate the "messy" stubble look. I far and away prefer well groomed goatees, stache, or even full bearded. (I never minded going through a bit of brush to get to a picnic;) ) Either smooth or well groomed, NOT stubble.

    My 2 chuckiecheese tokens worth
  12. I love to shave with my straight when I have a few days stubble. But the problem is I'm loving shaving so much that I can't go without a shave every morning.
  13. Shoot! Ah, whatever, I won't give up shaving for nobody - and especially not for a girl :D
  14. I also wanted to say that if I miss one day of shaving, my beard looks like it went 2 days. It is that heavy. It is starting to become gray now, but the thickness is still there, and easily shows.
  15. Why do some men like to appear unshaved?
  16. Klaus, ich stimme mit dir vollig uberein. Niemand wird mich aufhoren lassen, sich jeden Tag zu rasieren. ;)
  17. I really like the way I look with a 3 day stubble, any more than that and it starts to get itchy and I look homeless. I rarely have that degree of growth anymore since I've started wet shaving. I feel like I'm being lazy or cheating on my razor collection if I skip a day or two.

I did incidentally skip Sunday's shave so I'm rough, coarse and sexy today. Look out ladies!
  18. Ich vergass auch zu sagen, wenn Bardhaar eine Frau einschaltet, dann ist sie nicht wert damit zu sein!
  19. My wife knows I shave every other day, mimimal stubble. But if I skip that one shave and have that stubble growing, she insists I do not shave for another day.
  20. I'm closer to your end of the spectrum. Sometimes I feel a little like Homer Simpson- remember that episode where he shaves and it pops back in two second later?
