What Did Bodybuilders of the Old Use

for hair removal?

I'm sure the majority used razors.

Anyone here have personal accounts? What tools were employed?

I remember someone telling he recalls from childhood watching his pumped-up father shave his chest with a Krona before hitting the beach.

Most use and have used depillatories. Shaving works, but the results arent great. Many were just hairless.

I just assumed that all the steroids caused the hair (and other things) to just shrink right back into their body!

I'm not a body builder by any means but I stay fit and sometimes bulk up, as do most of my friends, and we all shave - and everyone we know who's smooth shaves. Depilatory creams are nasty, nasty - my brother uses them, which is a shame given he's got a Shave Doc w/ whom to consult at any time

Anyway, I guess I can turn this question around and ask what did women shave their bodies with in the past, if they didn't wax, etc.?

Lady Gillette DEs and so on?

Must have been tough being a lady those days.

I wonder what Sofia Loren et al. used...
