    Made some muffin dessert ..

yesterday I was in the mood for some ice cream with chocolate Muffins.

could have been much better if I had fresh strawberries on the side and a leaf of mint but hey im not serving in a restaurant . ice cream premade and whip cream not fresh. but this dessert is really easy and can be pimped up to fit any taste and style.

the muffin is extra fluffy due to using 100ml top grade olive oil instead of butter and using 2 spoond of bamboo sugar . the muffin mix is just a premade mix .

Walking through the grocery store I regularly venture down the liquor isle to take a look. Things often catch my eye, usually bourbon. I love me some bourbon. Anyway, I notice a bottle I had not seen before, Jim Beam Red Stag. It is Jim Beam Bourbon with natural black cherry flavors. I think to myself, "gross" but since I have every other Beam in my bar, I pick it up.

Opening and sniffing you can smell the cherry. I feel like it is going to be a fufu drink. I put some in a glass and pull a sip in to my mouth. Cherry is strong, but the bourbon is delicious. Same 80 proof I am used to with regular Beam. Not a sipping bourbon though.

I open a Diet Dr. Pepper (because it tastes more like regular Dr. Pepper) and mix a drink. This is where this combination works. It is like a cherry Dr Pepper. Tastes fantastic.

Overall review: Makes a nice mixed drink. Too much cherry for sipping straight. One more decision when I open the Bourbon cabinet. :)

If you haven't tried it you should. :) I drink it almost as often as bourbon and cola.

A little Ethiopian Harrar in the Aeropress. Yum! For some reason, I can get away with drinking coffee at night and still sleep.
