Sad day here in Carolina, folks. Nine brave firefighters lost their lives fighting a furniture warehouse fire in West Ashley. http://www.charleston.net/news/2007/jun/19/firefighters_lost/ Prayers to the families and to the City of Charleston as they cope with such a tragic loss.
My prayers to the family and friends of the brave firefighters who lost their lives in the line of duty. God rest their souls.
This is the first I've heard of this. Saw it first on Blair's post at BnB. Being from Charleston, I know a few firefighters. Reading through the list, I almost expected to recognize a name. I dont happen to know any of the firefighters. I know this event has impacted the lives of many of my friends and fellow Charlestonians.
