I'm sure it's less expensive to purchase a Tech in good condition than it will be to re-plate a Tech. But I have a couple (formerly) gold Techs that I'd like to re-plate (the razors have sentimental value, if not monetary). I haven't found a local jeweler who does this work. Anyone know an on-line source for having this work done? If you've had razors re-plated, is it an expensive project? Thanks, -Andy
Its because electro plating is its own entity. Look it up in the phone book. It gets expensive. Golds expensive right now. The prep works expensive. If you can even find a place to do two razors.
Well, maybe there isn't that much sentimental value. I'll check out electro plating and see what I find. Thanks!
