    So the razor that was in the khaki case is not really the one that originally came with it? Is the head the same and just the handle different or the whole razor?

    I have a question with the auto strap, is there a way to replace the rusted blade on the auto strap so that I could use it?

    You can modify a SE blade to work in the auto strop Dave did a video for it on you tube look for GEM Cutlery

    I recently bought an old Gillette DE razor that had a number of razors which looked the same as the ones in the photos. On the packaging of one of the razors the original owner (at least thats who I would like to think it was) has written 'used 6/11/1914'
    So they would be coming up on almost 100 years old now.
    I'll add some photos later.

    It doesn't look like a W&B DE head to me. I don't know if Gillette had a set that used that handle. None the less, it's a great handle...it may be a great shaver w/ the Gillette head!
