Result: Yeah, I should have quit while I was ahead. Three days in a row with a straight was a bit too much, not to mention that I was a bit rushed this morning. A few small nicks just under my lower lip on my right side (the area between where a mustache would grow down into the goatee and the "soul patch" - it's bald anyway, why was I shaving it?) A little burn crept up throughout the day, too. Not digging the Pitralon Polar - the Floid Blue is much better IMO. Oh well, the next few days I'll be DEing it until my face heals up...

Tech is circa 50 years old, belonged to my uncle. Middle-Eastern and semi-aggressive, it's very small and light, yet balanced. It bears no name but it came with a bunch of Lord DE blades of the same vintage. I wonder if it is a Lord Razor?

This was the highlight of my brief DE shaving experience. Lather was perfect and the GFT brush performed superbly. The shave itself was by far my best effot yet. 3 passes without a nick or weeper and the smoothest shave I've ever acieved with a DE. It was a true zen moment for me.

Result: Needed a nice mild shave today. The menthol s/c and a/s certainly helped out yesterday's burn. Will probably repeat the same tomorrow...

This Gorey's Chairman is a cheap new brush that I bought, and it can cause the lather to bury your face. All week, I'be been using the Ming Shi, and I've been getting fantastic shaves!
