Well then, I guess I'll have to get the Tabac too, since they're only very similar, and not exact... :D :happy102 Thanks for the heads up, I thought they were identical except for scent....

I have tried the Wilkinson stick today.I have to admit that I didnt remember that is was so good as it is.Its GREAT, not only decent.Im gonna stick to shaving sticks..theyre cheap and perform like more expensive soaps like Tabac,Martin de Candre...I think is hard to beat the quality and price of shaving sticks.

Today I shaved with the Wilkinson stick I recently acquired from olafurson. That is a nice soap! Great lather, nice cushion, I got a really nice shave from it and it's cheap!

    Cheers,
    David

I dont know how much you paid for it,but in UK its like 99 pence(about an euro and ten cents,a dollar 15 cents)and performs like a champ.Im gonna try it again this week and make a review about it.

I used my Wilkinson Stick today, too. Wow. A very nice slick, cushion-y lather. Not much scent to it, but what there was, was just a clean soap scent. Very nice stick. :happy088

Just picked up 2 Arko shave sticks. 99 cents each. Turkish grocery stores rock! I also came home with some black tea and some Turkish coffee.

I love my sticks but still want a great scent coming out of them.

The Wilkinson stick is so much better than the bowl version, and smells much nicer, at lest to me. The Bea/Lea, from Spain is a decent stick, but I don't like the scent, and it leaves my skin feeling irritated, but the La Toja, also from Spain smells great, lathers very well, and leaves my skin feeling smooth, clean, and well-defended against irritation or dryness. Another very good stick is the De Vergulde Hand, from Holland. Not only is the lather fantastic, as well as the skincare, but the scent is delightful.

Never heard about De Vergulde Hand,Jeff.I wish I could get it here.Did you know that Lea/Bea and La Toja has almost the same formulation?and have you heard about a stick from Dr.Zeiff(dunno if its Argentinian or Uruguayan but a friend from south america told me about it today)
D Selby is the brand and I have found it in internet..it seems good to me!
