Tabac is as we know,simply SUPERB!!!Used bottled water again.I dialed the slim at 9 and 4 passes shave 1 wtg,3 xtg.A BBS without razor brun or cuts.I can say that the shave with the dial adjust at 9 is like a SE shave,really close and comfortable.Tomorrow I will try the Ted Pellas SE blades and TSD soap.

Result: Great shave today! A friend had emailed me last night and reminded me about pressure...so I was extra conscious of it this morning. One of my best yet, for straights! Only 2 passes, WTG/XTG but dang if I'm not nearer BBS than ever, and very comfortable - no irritation or burning at all! The freezy face from the AVIB w/ menthol was a bit of a let down, though...I don't think I added enough....

Fixed yer post.............sounds like today was only a 4 frozen face day vs 5.

The Real Shaving Co.'s Cream is a steal. First time trying it but I knew it'd be good on account of reviews. It was a gift.

The Russian Gillette Platinums which come in packs of five, individually wrapped, wax too, are stellar. I highly recommend them. Sharp, long-lasting, they're among the best I've used.

 

I think Godrej Lime Fresh has an adequate amount of lime scent; not weak but not as strong as Castle Forbes. I’ve heard some describe it as having a lemon scent (an opinion that I disagree with). Anyway, for the price of a tube if you think the stuff sucks you’re not out much. BTW, it’s the only lime shave cream/soap I’ve used that didn’t irritate my skin.

Another lovely shave with a great combination. The Ming Shi has just about become my #1 favorite DE, and Florena is such a wonderful cream, because of its lather and skincare, and it smells really nice!
