Being fairly new to wet shaving myself, my experience is somewhat limited. I do like Tabac and the TSD soap works admirably too. (I got a sample of the TSD soap, went with Sandalwood and I like the scent quite well) Proraso cream is one of my standbys, though I'm giving KMF a try tonight (seems to be generally regarded as quite good and it's readily available). As far as post-shave goes, I've been using the TSD AS Milk lately. I have had excellent results with the Nivea Sensitive AS Balm. The Nivea is so good on my face that my fiancee started using it when she was having trouble with her skin, and it did wonders for her too. For pre-shave, I don't use any special products. I just soak a washcloth or hand towel in water that is just slightly cooler than 'ouch, it burns' and lay down with that over my beard for a few minutes. It feels great.
