What do you guys think of their products? I just recently rediscovered how much I like their phoenix scent.
Bobby, I cannot find any more the Phoenix scent---it is nice, really nice, but no more here available.
I enjoy their scents including phoenix. Dont use stick deodorants anymore but i have used their shower gels recently and they are nice. Nothing on quality of product but more on the scents which are nice.
No sir, I don't like them. I use Old Spice body spray on top of the crystal instead of Axe. I used the body wash one time, was not bad but there are better ways to get clean. As for the hair stuff, I obviously have no need for it.
Not a fan. I've tried a few different products from them and come across with the same results. The body wash smells funny, the body spray smells like chemicals and metal, and the deodorants don't last more than two hours. No thank you.
Personally, I hate them. The worst stuff is definitly their spray-can deodorant. MAN, that stuff STINKS! But the worst part about it: The scent is so overpowering it gets stuck in your nose and in the whole house for HOURS. Disgusting. Never tried the rest of their stuff but looking at the ingredients lists I don't want to either.
I liked and used the anti-perspirant for a year or so - liked it a bunch, although it was strong smelling for an hour or so. My son used to bathe in the body spray when he was 18. He smelled like Sunday morning at a brothel on the wrong side of the tracks. Nasty stuff... In fact, he put some on the other night (for old time's sake). I can still smell it in his bathrooom. Nasty stuff...
Oh lord...Axe?!? It's meant for 14 year olds trying to snag their first girlfriend. Seriously if you like it, then use it. I'm not a fan.
Seems like their latest products (the Bergamot/Vetiver/etc. stuff) was pretty short-lived. Saw them on clearance at Kroger last week. A couple of their scents have been ok when I sniffed them in the store, but the whole product line just isn't for me. Too "modern" and synthetic in general.
Yeah, some of their scents really are OKAY, but, well, ya know, they've GOT to find another way to applicate their products because, as I said, when you use the spray-can deodorant you end up perfuming the whole house and I mean it. My brother uses the stuff and the scent creeps up from the main to the first floor within SECONDS... If they were making a deodorant in an applicator like the ones being offered by Tabac, Irisch Moos, Taylor of Old Bond Street or Old Spice (High Endurance) I'd give the stuff a try. A bath soap would also be great - as long as the scent's not TOO strong - I don't want people to recognise me by my smell 100miles against the wind
I've only tried samples I've recieved for Body wash, one of the early sprays, and a shampoo (before I started head shaving). It all was terrible. The scents are like chemistry lab and a cheap bar mixed together. The body wash dried even my oily skin. The shampoo was decent for two uses, but the scent was in line with their other products. I could see a Bergamot or Vetiver scent being a little better, but I'm really not that interested based on my experience so far.
I used to use there deodorants and antiperspirant but switched to the rock. I agree with Erik they body wash is very drying but...back in my younger days (only like 8yrs ago) they sure would mask the "night before's drinking" that was fuming out of the pores!
maybe it's a result of me working in the public school arena, around jr. high and high school boys, but I HATE the stuff most of it triggers an allergy attack, so there's even more reason to have to positive feelings of it over (of course, most perfumes/colognes/strong-scented things cause me allergy attacks anyway, soooooo....)
