I like Old Spice Classic Round Stick Formula.

Sometimes I spray my shoes with Right Gaurd Original Sport, which comes in a brown aerosol and smells very much like Tabac.

Have you seen that they're making it now in the larger oval containers like the "new" Old Spice scents? I picked up a tube of it from a CVS last week. Unfortunately, it broke me out like crazy. Never happened before with any other deodorant. I'm blaming it on alcohol in the ingredient list. It's the 1st ingredient in the classic old spice and isn't in any of the other old spice or Mennen products I use...

Yeah. OS round stick does the same thing to me. Fires up the pits nice and toasty. I've taken to using Mennen (green cap/can't remember the flavor) deodorant when I use one. Generally I stick w/ the Crystal these days. The Mennen is in the gym bag.

Really dislike axe. For one, the combination of AXE and after gym sweat is terrible. Secondly, the scents are way too artificial for my taste

I got to tell you. I went and bought the Axe neon green shower gel. Not bad. Nice citrusy scent and lots of lather. Granted I will still probably give it to my 12 year old but I liked it.

I like the Axe Chocolate deodorant although most of their other deodorants aren't that good.

Is it me or does axe change thier product names weekly?I liked thier shower gel "night attack" then changed to "groove" then changed to.....you see where I'm going w/ this. I also use to like thier more mild scented deoderant sticks like tsunami but they quite making it in stick form. I agree all thier spray can stink to high heaven like walking down the perfume aisle in the mall.

I'll stick w/ cheap easy to find speed stick and suave body wash TY

I like the Axe detailing scrub thing. It looks like a tire, red scour pad on one side, black scrubber on the other side. It's awesome. Works really well with my Old Spice shower stuff.

Other than that, Axe reminds me of three things:
They handed out sample packs when I was an RA in college to the freshman dorm I was in. Worst. Idea. Ever.

People substituting showering for a quick Axe spray.

A frat boy bar on the weekend.

Axe is fine if you like those scents and have no negative connotations. I view it kind of like Bud/Miller Light: If it's all you know, it's perfectly fine. But once you've had Yuengling, Great Lakes Brewing, Goose Island, Fat Tire, or whatever, you realize just how naive you were :)

  15. I used to use the anti-perspirant and it worked ok. The smell was pretty overpowering at first application. I've since stopped using traditional anti-perspirants and am using the Crystal now. Its working well and I don't expect to change that anytime soon.
Even if I do go back to traditional deodorants, it will probably be more along the lines of Speed Stick or Arm and Hammer... something like that.

The Axe scents are directed at young people. I concur that the spray is utterly overwhelming and I suspect, repellant to attractive young ladies rather than an attractant... but tastes are subjective, so who knows.

If I rode a skateboard, drank Mountain Dew Code Red and ate Extreme Doritos, I might consider using these products. For now though, I'll stick to driving my sedan, drinking 90-minute IPA and eating something plucked directly from mother earth. And I'll stick to using more traditionally scented 'grown-up' colognes and other products.

These products suck. They have great marketing and advertising all over the place. The body sprays smell fake, artifical, aerosoly. However, some of them smell pretty good. Its a waste of money though. You can get a better product for a few more dollars.

The body wash is 5 dollars and is just a rip off. Its not very good, but it gets the job done. You could just get a cvs brand scented for 4 dollars cheaper and get the same product minus the little specks in it

I still love Brut! It is getting harder to find though.

What is this Crystal Deoderant everyone keeps talking about?

Hai Karate for me :D Later on, in high school, they assured us that girls would literally come out of their undergarments and submit to your sickest desires if only you were wearing Jovan Musk and like dutiful little sheep, we complied :D They were lying (b**tards).

Even so I would say that all three scents (Brut, Hai Karate, and yes even Jovan Musk) are superior to Axe stuff. Axe is just a bit too synthetic, a bit too metrosexual for my tastes. Certainly though, if its your thing, knock yourself out. You'll lose none of the store stock to me.
