I just tried my Tabac Cream for the first time (thanks, Joanna!) and my goodness can I finally see what all the fuss is about. First off, the lather was instant and creamy, even with my cheapo Pure Badger brush. Secondly, the smell. My goodness that smell is intoxicating. In fact, I think I know what the secret ingredient in Tabac is: Testosterone. That has got to be the manliest smelling soap I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. It's like a mixture of Baby Powder and Steroids. It's just awesome. If you're on the fence about Tabac, trust me, it's worth the price (AND THEN SOME!)
Tabac is a great product (though I've only tried the soap, not the cream). Very effective. Though I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of the scent. I hated it at first, now I don't mind it...but I still can't get over its floral heart notes. They keep me from loving the scent.
it's definitely love or hate...many men think it's too feminine. I personally love it and want to try the after shave and cologne one day too.
happy102:happy102,baby powder and steroids, good one man!Tabac smells amazing and the cream is very good, but just wait to try the soap...
imho the soap is FAR superior to the cream. I've tried both and found the cream to be less than spectacular. The soap is good in that it produces an incredible lather. Unfortunately, I absolutely hate the smell (not because of the floral notes, simply because it smells awful to me).
I like it, although I don't find the scent to be masculine at all. The splash is great as an a/s, but to me it's even more feminine in scent. Not to say you'll smell like a woman when using it, but it certainly doesn't conjure images of manly-men.... I must say though, that after getting ahold of the Irisch Moos, I've liked the scent of Tabac less....
Performance wise, while serviceable the cream is a poor step child of the soap. The scent is another story-:sick007
Absolutely. I don't really like at least a third of the ingredients in the cream - but the soap, it's fantastic!
