gssixgun At this point in time...

This is one I did a ton of work on... I buffed out the blade using 80-600 grease-less compounds then finished polishing with the buffer... It took quite a bit of work to get out the slight pitting and to take the finish to near mirror...
The front of the blade needed to be evened up also, then I made custom acrylic scales for it....
The wedge is solid black, I used all brass hardware, and the "Red Lava" acyclic for the scales....

I'll get this one on the hones tonight, and test shave this 8/8 shorty in the morning.....

So hopefully she will be going home to her owner tomorrow.... :D

Oh my! I have ANOTHER new hobby to try out! You are to be complimented. Very nice detail work! Those pins look better than my factorys.

That shortened blade is very cool looking, I bet it's much more manuverable than a standard W&B

What type of scales would normally be found on those? I saw a short bladed W&B with some broken full sized black scales. I assumed that somebody reground the blade after part of the tip broken off. It never came to me that it may have come that way.

Great job on trimming the blade. It looks like it was made that way:)
