I'm so addicted to my menthol set-ups that I decided to go with this Gada cream, which is a delight. I also noticed the Mennen aftershave has a great traditional scent, and it's perfect for hot weather like this, because it's not overpowering. All in all, a wonderful shave, and I'm looking forward to another one tomorrow!

Second time using Dan's soap(thanks for the sample)....yesterday I tried it with an Aristocrat. So far, it's been good, although this morning I may have added just a little too much water. Yeah, yesterdays lather was a bit better, but both shaves have been pleasant. I'm gonna play around with this stuff again, and I should improve things.

Rather than review it now, I'll wait till I truly figure out the sweet spot. I'll just say there's no problems with the performance, and the skin care is better than most. The amber scent is an unusual version, and has some vanilla to my nose. Doesn't really smell very amber like to me, but it's certainly not an unpleasant scent.

I was telling Dan I'd sniffed this before, but couldn't remember where the hell it was. Heh, after repeated huffing, I may have come up with what it reminds me of. Now I can't be positive about this, since it's been many years, but the scent reminds me of chocolate liquorice sticks.

Yeah, you don't see this candy much anymore, but I really enjoyed it when I was a kid. This is totally different than the black stuff...... chocolate type is more like the red version. The scent when opening a bag was something like this amber version....I think. Kind of a mellow melange. Heh, no wonder I sorta like this scent.

  [*]Result: The Flare Tip was laying around on the razor rack being unsued and collecting dust. So I put the SharpEdge in and shaved away. Not a bad shave at all. BBS with no blood. Could get used to this razor after awhile. The "Fat" did its usual great job and making wonderful lather.
