A friend of mine made the pilgramage to Pasteur's Pharmacy in NYC, and picked up a couple of items for me. D.R. Harris Pink and Coates Original Almond cream (unsure if this is the original or new formulation).
Ive heard it really didnt matter if its old or new formula..that they were both good creations that exist no more.

Nice Haul Rick, I got a 1 pound basket for roasting coffee on my BBQ via the rotiserie, it worked well although I need to buy a new temp gauge that goes to 550+ degrees or so, as I took it a little to dark, it was only a 1/4 pound but worked well. Will be placing an order at Sweet Maria's soon, what types of coffee did you order Rick? Also scored a bench hone from Handamerica, and some magnetic backed pieces of leather and films for honing and stroping.

Pretty nice haul today... Crabtree & Evelyn Best Badger brush (yay! I finally got one!) Crabtree & Evelyn Sandalwood soap refill perfect coffee/shave mug from World Market. I couldn't have gotten one any better. That new C&E soap fits right snug in the bottom!!
This week I got; From trades/forum purchases 1 Merkur HD (to replace my Merkur Classic) 1 tub Vulfix Sandalwood 1/2 tub Vulfix lavender 1 tub eshave citrus From local purchases 1 bottle Masters Musk aftershave 1 bottle Masters Bay Rum aftershave (at the recommendation of quite a few members) 1 bottle black opal razor bump recovery complex (been looking for this for a while) and finally, after 3 months of waiting..... 1 SIMPSON MAJOR TRAVEL BRUSH IN SUPER - I recently bought one of these and it ended up being a major shedder. First just a few hairs a shave, then 5-10, then 15-20 and I decided to quit using it. Contacted Simpson, and other than having to wait 3 weeks, they took care of me and sent me another one free of charge. Excellent excellent excellent service from Simpson, didn't even have to send the old one back or provide a proof of purchase. I couldn't be happier.
