Welcome! I think that you should expect to be doing multiple passes. That is a good thing. Beard reduction really is key. I don't think another razor would fix that. Enjoy the shaves!
Yea, after further reading, I've resigned the fact that it's gonna take multiple passes. That's okay though. Ordered sample packs of some of the suggested blades, I'll see how that works for new.

Good going with the Sample Pack because, more than any other piece of shaving gear, the blade is the most individual to the shaver. What one person swears by another will swear at.
