personally I don't give a damn about that whole political correctness-mania. Just because those politicians use a nicer word for "retard" for example it doesn't make the person referred to any more intelligent. I prefer the hard truth - also when people are talking to me. No talking around the bush for me.

 

My 10yo daughter has the book, and it's one of her favorites. Her favorite line (I believe it's from Rumplestilskin) is when the heroine says, "What are you, special abled or something?" :rofl

 

Wait, they actually made these stories into a book done like this? I thought it was a joke. OK, now I HAVE TO shoot myself. :roflWhere is George Carlin when you need him?

It's called Politcally Correct Bedtime Stories. The author explains that he couldn't use his original choice of Politically Correct Fairy Tales, for obvious reasons.
It's a hoot.

 

OK, that book would give me nightmares. (No offense to Piers Anthony Xanth Books. )
