What would be your pick for funniest movie ever? I say "Planes, Trains and Automobiles" Steve Martin and John Candy are an absolutely hilarious team. I've seen this movie probably at least 20 times and laugh hysterically every time I watch it.
I know some people might think I'm crazy(er) for thinking this, but Ace Ventura: When Nature Calls is in my top three. The part where Carey emerges from the rhino's hiney is one of the funniest moments in cinema history.
The first time I saw Animal House I nearly wet myself with laughter, I watch it now and it's not the same. I am sure there are more.....
"Arsenic and Old Lace" without a doubt, even though I've seen it dozens of times, I always get a laugh out of the movie.
can't put my full vote behind just one, but how about top three? Actually, I'll go ahead and say it: Airplane! you can hardly go 5 seconds in that movie without a gag of some sort Naked Gun and Spaceballs I would also put up for contention, though Spaceballs does require a certain personality to be enjoyed, while Airplane is hilarious to anybody (if you disagree, you're wrong )
Hmm... Airplane is definitely up there, probably number 1. American Pie, Bad Santa, and Role Models all made me fall out of my seat in the theaters from laughing so hard.
A tie: Some Like It Hot (with Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis, and Jack Lemmon) and Auntie Mame (with Rosalind Russell, Peggy Cass, and Forrest Tucker)
