Hi! I was told it would be a good idea to introduce myself. So here I am. I started shaving with a safety a little over a month ago, a couple of weeks after my husband got into it. I couldn't resist, I had to try it out. After the first try I couldn't believe how smooth my legs were and how much more fun it was to use nice lathering creams and soaps on a badger brush rather than a can of gel and a plastic mach 3. I started out with my hubby's merkur 34c...nice tool by the way. But I like the look and feel of my gold lady gillette better and the handle is less slippery in the tub. Although now that I got some info on the long Handled Super Adjustable I may have to pick one of those up too. This is fun and the vintage razors are a good value and very interesting. They're made so well.
Welcome again! Sounds like you may already have been bitten by the AD's (Acquisition Disorder) bug. Best of luck with that, it can be quite hard to get rid of.
