Took the day off from work, worked on music for my MP3 then had one of these: with a fantastic Philly Cheese Steak for dinner. In a matter of hours, my Bucs will be destroying Miami's Dolphins in Raymond James Stadium. I of course will be out of the rain with my five remaining Beach Bums enjoying the game on TV. Gotta love a football game on Thursday night, I'm off again tomorrow. Life is indeed a beautiful thing.
Go Bucs. How is that beer by the way? I'm a little uneasy with the big brewers trying to capture the market from the actual good brewers.
A great brewery, New Belgian Brewery, from Colorado has has strating selling more than just Fat Tire outside Colorado. If you see anything I highly suggest trying it. My personal favorite is 1554 Black Ale. Another you might find is Brekenridge Avalanche, a nice strongly flavored, yet balanced amber ale.
The beer was actually quite good, I went through most of a six pack last night (which is uncharacteristic as hell for me) but the Bucs looked like complete crap and the beer was what saved the evening. Very good beer though. I think one of these days, I'll break down and go full on microbrewery (i.e. Fat Tire, etc) just to see what they're about. I've found Sam Adams Summer Ale to be quite good as well.
