That means alot thank you. I did run into the APO problem and I used to ship things to my mothers house then in the special instructions area right my address and explain my situation. Didn't always work though.

 

Where in Iraq is he and where in Texas are you. Im in DFW until late Oct early Nov.

 

I am in Austin and my son is in S.E. Iraq. I believe it's Camp Gary Owen.

 

Ill look him up when I get there. My Uncle is out there right now but we are going to pass in transit he is coming home soon.

I agree with a lot of the recommendations.

-I'd pack a shave stick
-VDH brush since they're cheap and hold up fairly well and wont be upset if it went bust
-a merkur hd or something with the same type head since no moving parts to get sand/dirt in and less likely it'd break.
-the kit picture posted above would be good as well with a few packs of your fav blades.

Hey brother I spent 18 months in Bagdad during the first and second
rotations of OIF. I was in a few different camps around there and all
of them had shops ran by the INDIG's. They can hook you up with just
about anything you need. It might not be the exact brand you want, but
might be good enough to get you by until you get what you need.

I agree with KISS. I'd just take one razor, bunch of blades, and some
cream. The rest you can get over there. Believe me they are willing to
sell anything. Also there is a pretty cool thing they do at the local
ran barbers shops on post. They will trim your eyebrows with a practice
called Threading. They use one piece of string to pluck you eyebows.
Its kinda weird but coll at the same time.

Back to subject. I would take about a month to month and half
worth of supplies. By then you will have you address and care packages
can be sent by then. Or it can be acquired there. If you have any
trouble getting what you need while you are there hit me up. I'll
see to it you get what you need.

You worry about getting home. We will worry about getting you
the little things you need while you are there. Good Luck and
