supermods too! and admins! and non-official mods who monitor the halls! and even second class members who keep the first class members honest! and newbies! and troublemakers who make sure the mods have something to do! and guests who are always keeping us on our toes wondering when and if ever they will ever join and what they will say! and software developers who make sure we have a sandbox to play in! and the missionaries in china and the boy scouts and the little old ladies who smile at us when we walk into WalMart and and and ... ... ...
Hiya, I just noticed this thread and it looks like the comments have slowed down a bit. Maybe sometime I'll take up some space with some typing about my own experiences with various mods(in other forums). Heh, ever try playing cards online with a mod you don't like(and he doesn't like your act either)? I agree with Austin about the way this place is managed. Yeah, overseeing a forum can be a PITA, but the motivation usually makes up for that part. I like all the mods here, which is surprising. The thing is,(and I've said this many times before) the owner is the one who sets the tone, and the mods take their cues from that person. It's what I've seen on other forums, and TSD is probably no different. The basic guidelines are set by the person who has the most to gain(or lose). That's the person I'd like to thank as well........the guy behind the curtain........heh. I've had lots of previous experience dealing with mods, and whoever picked the ones we have did a good job. I don't always agree with their decisions, but I think their hearts are in the right place. That counts for a good bit, and is one reason I like this place. Ok, I am done, Martin
