How to safely change blades with a 3 piece?

When you get old and have a twitch while in this process and drop the blade LET IT Go!!!!! I caught two so far and am wearing one bandaid right now. Good reflexes suck sometimes.

 

I wrap the head in a towel or wash cloth still gripping the head of the razor by the ends and screw the handle in tight. The towel or wash cloth provides a protecive barrier in case you do have a slip

 

I too, have cursed my quick reaction time. But when it is needed, it can sure be nice. That is if it shows up when you need it.
