Does anyone have any recipes for alcohol based aftershaves. You could save us all some money.

Any particular ingredients you want to have or just in general?

    Alcohol

Isopropyl alcohol for the base and ingredients that aren't expensive.

This is what I have been using for a couple months and really like it. This is in a 4oz bottle. This has a kinda "heat" (from clove, cinnamon, pepper, ginger) and "cool" (from peppermint). The lime and bay rum make it interesting. This is roughly a 2.5% EO solution, which is pretty strong.

slightly less than 2 oz ethanol (i.e. everclear)
slightly less than 2 oz witch hazel (usually Dickinsons)
10 drops glycerin (any more and it becomes "sticky")
60 drops total of various essential oils
    10 clove
    8 peppermint
    12 black pepper
    10 lime
    6 bay rum
    4 ginger
    5 cinnamon leaf
    5 rosemary
