Pulled a last minute switcheroo on soaps today; don’t want to become predictable.

I don't do as many super lathers as when I first started, but this combination just works really well. I'm getting more attached to the Vulfix boar every time I use it. I don't know if it's me or if it keeps getting better. I think I like it more than the C&E Best Badger now.

The Susie's soap gives a lather less solid and creamy than other soaps, . The Parker 91R is a good razor, my problem with it was the head of the razor, the vendor (shaving-shack.com) sent a new head yesterday,....and the Parker 91R has no problems to do its job.

I really worked on the MWF to get the 1305 filled with soap and I was able to get two very good passes (WTG, ATG) with the Chatsworth/7OCY combo (I like this razor alot) and then I was able to get two head passes (Mach 3) with the remaining lather. Not a BBS but a very close shave and I just overdid it with the post shave accoutrements. I love it when a plan comes together.

Went to Past.'s Pharmacy (34th st.) yesterday. Nothing earth-shattering. Girlfriend bought a pack a gum and a bottle of water.

I'd never smelled Harris Marlborough SS and have to say it's remarkable. Tried on GFT's Marlborough cologne, by which I wasn't impressed.

Parker sells some surprisingly nice, ornate-handled razors of which I wasn't aware.

If you're not fixed on English products, there's no beating the East. Dubai, for example, blew my mind.
