I've never bought from that particular vendor but the creams are great. Especially the Godrej Deluxe. It's one of my favorites.
i just realized i titled this thread wrong.. i wanted to know if anyone has bought from the vendor in the link more than anything. the feedback was good..and the prices were are to.
I love Godrej Deluxe cream. The scent is classy, and also barbershoppy. I never heard of Vi-John, and I knew there was a perfume from Lomani, but this is the 1st time I see a shaving cream from them.
i almost got some of the VI John but since i didnt see any reviews i bailed. and you mean there is actually something that you havent tried? :happy102
I have used the Godrej and it is still in my rotation. Very creamy lather which is what I prefer. best, Gary
+1 I bought Godrej Menthol Mist, Morisons and Dettol (all Indian creams) from Joanna at the Shave Den Store. I love the Menthol Mist but have not yet gotten around to trying the Dettol or Morisons cream.
First try with Godrej deluxe. I bowl lathered with my 1315 and it was nice. Lather was good but tended to dry towards the 3rd pass. I most likely need to get the right mix of water and cream. Not much in the fragrance dept but thats OK. All and all a very nice cream. Defintly a keeper.
I do not mean its a bad scent, but I, (and it could be my tube) dont pick up any noticeable scent??? To me it is almost scentless. I will try kneading the tube, could be it separated or something and in need of mixing.
I saw that web store.. almost bought from it. It says might be up to a month wait for the good to arrive... let us know how it goes... there are a few things there I want to try if it works out good. Fuzzy
My current shaving cream is the Godrej Deluxe Lather. This is a nice cream with a good scent and wonderful lather. I have also used Old Spice original in the past and I found that it has a better scent than the Godrej but doesn't lather up easily. The Palmolive Moisturising is also a good cream and I would recommend that you do give it a try. Vi-John and to a lesser extent Dettol shaving cream are commonly used in barbershops across India and have really rich lather with an average scent.
An Indian friend of mine wants to bring me back a big bunch of creams from India. I will ask him to try to get Vi-John. I have Dettol Cool, which I find lovely. My favorite of all Indian creams are Godrej Deluxe, and Menthol Mist.
