Taylor's Avocado ... in a METAL tube?

    Fellows,

Is Taylor's Avocado now available in a metal/ aluminum tube, vs. the crappy plastic tube? Saw a couple of sites today (MiN, Sesto Senso) that seemed to ship the avocado in the good metal tubes.

    What gives?

If this is true, I'm gonna stock up in case Taylor's reverts to the plastic again.

Interesting. I have not seen TOBS in metal tubes but will have to ask my distributor if there has been a change.

I'm quite confident I saw metal-tubed Taylor's creams at Pasteur's, where tubs of TOBS were only 13.00$.

I'm not a fan of SC in a tub as I hate the hassle of scooping and love the ease of squeezing, but when both varieties are available, the tube's a ripoff.

Fortunately, the best creams only come in tubes.

Yessir, that's the ugly truth. And what's worse ... 99% of my collection is a ripoff in the sense that more than one SC is just pure luxury. But I still wants me some Taylor's Avocado!

Thanks for the heads up BoyX! I may give Pasteur's a call and see if they do mail order.

I think they switched from metal to plastic tubes a while ago so these would have to be old stock.

As far as I know, Taylor's have never used metal tubes, D.R. Harris recently changed from metal to plastic and Trumper's still use metal and hopefully always will. So the Taylor's Avocado you supposedly saw in metal tubes was a mirage. Unless, since they have changed all their creams to be "paraben free", they've now gone over to metal tubes.
