May seem like an odd question but I'm wondering if anyone doesn't like shaving with DEs or straight razors. Does anyone here prefer a disposable?
There are some. There is even a sub-forum here on cartridge razor use. There are also injectors and single edge razors that have a big following on here. Speaking of which.... Such as those SE razors?
well, "DE" refers to the blade, I assume, unless the holder also has two cutting edges I suppose so! But I guess everything is disposable at some point eh
I have always considered them double edge razors, and referred to them as DE razors, although technically the razor itself doesn't have the edges. I think that is what the OP was referring to.
How could someone? We have superior sharpness, smoothness, price, and everything else. Their only edge is time. But surely even the most rushed person can find 15 minutes to shave.
I am glad to see that you caught on.. and since a lot of disposible razors are single edge I will go so far as to say that I mean the Single Edge Safety razors. VIVA LA REVOLUTION FUZZY
Occasionally there will be some users that unite and start threads mentioning how great the cartridge razor is. There was a time when I thought they were better than DE's. It can take some people quite a while to learn how to shave with one, and some might not ever get it. To each their own...
i think my question is easy to understand.. seriously, do you really read into my question too much. perhaps. but i really am asking if there is anyone here, or visiting, that prefers a cartridge razor vs the DEs or straights. not too hard to figure out unless you're looking for a mistake in my line of questioning. thanks.
Might check out the cartridge forum to see the folks that prefer them. That's kinda what it is there for. Fuzzy
It's all good damonsax, your thread got a little side tracked is all, happens around here sometimes. Yes there are some users here that prefer cartridges, just that none of them have spoke up yet, and like Fuzzy said we have a forum for folks that do.
