The problem that DeserTime described was the same problem I experienced with my Parker 22R New 2010 Head. My face looked like Leatherface when I finished shaving.
Did you notice if the blade was crooked in the head? Mine was so obvious even I could see it. BTW. I'm jealous of your Old Spice mug. I had one for many years and even after I couldn't get Old Spice soap anymore, I'd plop a puck of Williams in it. Lost it in a flood in 1994.
If you want a good new TTO razor, consider the Weishi. It's very mild (similar to a blue tip SS) so won't please those who favor more agressive razors. Quality and finish are good, not great but better than the price would indicate. I'm very fond of my Weishi as a head shaver, though I prefer my vintage Gillettes on my face. If Parker hasn't figured out the QC yet, it leaves the Weishi as the only affordable good current production TTO razor that isn't overly expesive like the Future and Vision.
I have the following Parkers and will comment on each: 91R 3 piece - build quality is excellent not cheap. Semi aggressive 82R TTO -build quality is excellent and the blade sits perfect each side of the head. Semi aggressive heavy razor 74R 3 piece Open Comb- The blade was wavy when sandwiched between the top and bottom of the head. Minor cuts lucky I didn't kill myself. A different vendor sent me a head from an 84R straight bar. That head is paper thin but the blade sits in nicely. I use the 74R handle. Very nice combination and good shave. PS Parker is trying to improve but have a ways to go.
