Yep. Use alum on my pits and face. Of course, it's a bit harsher on my face than an alum block designed as part of a post-shave skin regimen.
I use Tom's, seems to work 90% of the time, but then there is the odd day when everyone claims I reek :ashamed001
I used Old Spice Classic round stick for years (like about 30 years). Then about a year ago I switched to Tabac deodorant stick, and I am completely satisfied with it. It smells like Old Spice (only better) and works just as well.
MenScience Advanced Deodorant, I began using their products about 6 months ago and they are absolutely wonderful.
Perry Ellis 360 White Deodorant Stick. I love the smell of it and the EDT. I also use the aftershave balm. It smells great to me and my wife loves it.
Mostly Gillette Gel (Cool Wave) and Degree, which are both deodorant/antiperspirants. Used to use Right Guard Deodorant stick and Old Spice stick years ago, but developed irritation from them. Might consider trying a mild deodorant only again. Some good suggestions in this thread.
I just bought the Old Spice clinical or extra strength as it's called. I haven't used it yet... But today I had on some old spice after hours stuff. Works sometimes.
Been using the Tabac pump spay for some time now. Will not buy again, it doesn't really last especially during hot summer days.
I went out and played golf, midday, in the hot AZ sun. I've been using Tom's of Maine - Crystal Confidence roll-on lately. Works on the same principle as the alum block. And it worked just fine during my golf trip. It says "24-hour protection" and I still can't smell anything in my pits. I usually supplement with a little Clubman talc, but I didn't today and there's still no sign of funk, even after sweating all day.
