I've been using a DE razor for about 2 months now. Wow!!! I got a sampler pack and have used Feathers, Lord, 7 o'clock (Green-Russia), Derby, CVS House brand (ASR), and Bluebird razor blades. I'm using a 1951 Super Speed. For the past 3 days I've used Lord blades and have had the best shaves ever. I'm not sure if its my technique, or if Lords are really good blades. I don't know that I've read any posts about Lord blades. They work, and they're cheap. Hmmmm, cheap blades equals more soaps and creams, right?? So... am I the only one who loves Lord Blades?
I find those to be excellent blades, along with a couple other LORD blades. They're just a little more than my favorite Astra Superior Platinums, but if Astra's were out fo production, these would be one of just a few blades I'd consider as a replacement.
I was thinking that these would probably be the next blade I try out of my sample pack. These or the swords??? There are so many to try, I just don't know?
I use them and they work quite well. Not my first choice in a blade but still very useable for the price
Lord makes amazing blades. In fact Egyptian blades are all top-notch. Try ASCO, Rainbow, Racer - esp. ASCO.
I just bought 2 packs of the Lord Stainless Blades for .50 a pack. I wanted to try them soon. If I like them, I will purchase some Platinum’s.
I find the stainless and platinum blades to shave very differently. The platinum blades are sharper and smoother IMHO.
