    anyone else doing this?

it would make things quite boring here for awhile, but it would make for an interesting story to tell come "decemb-shave"

Haha... I read the subject as "November" and came into this thread to extol the virtues of falling leaves, crisp evening strolls with a cigar, Friday night football games, hot cocoa, etc.

My mistake... quite a letdown once I read the original post. ;)

Edit: Bringing this post onto topic, I don't think I'll be participating. A whole month with no shaving (only trimming) doesn't sound like much fun.

I've been thinking of growing a mustache and goatee. I can't get past the itchy stage with beards anymore.

I suppose I could, I'd continue to shave my dome daily though just to feed my shave Jones :D

sol92258 I have no earthly idea

I don't participate in that in particular, but I always grow my beard out late Oct./ early Nov. anyway, until about March, just because.
(Hey, at least I don't keep it year round anymore :D)

Looks like the opposite of TSD except that we can read and write as well as take photos.

Back when I used to shave out of need rather than out of enjoyment I used to grow a winter beard, but now I don't know what I plan to do.

Maybe I'll wait til the temp drops below 0 for a couple days in a row to decide.

Actually, I have already started my yearly routine for the cold months. I will only shave on the weekends. If any of you other guys work outside in the cold, then you know how much colder your face feels while freshly shaved.

Granted, this year I am in a crane that actually has a heater, so it is not too bad.

my hubby just started growing his out. But he shaves his high cheeks and neck. With his job he likes the warmth that the beard provides for our cold winter months.
