Well on my forth shave, using a gillette 7 oclock razor and blade, tweezerman brush and VDH soap. Im loving it I think im hooked. I have a feeling this is gonna start getting pretty expensive soon for me. Only problems im having still is around the neck area, but im sure I will get that worked out soon.

Well, if you´re hooked I´m sure it can be expensive if you will let yourself carried away with it :happy097

Give it some time and some effort and the smooth and clean shaves will come to you. The neck area can be a bit difficult, especially if you have hair growth like crop circles like some of us have........

It´s a matter of feeling and experience to get those buggers clean cut, but after a while it will become a daily routine :happy088

    Welcome to TSD!
The neck took me the longest to figure out as it does with many others. If you have really wild growth, focus more on what works than growth direction. I have to make 4 passes at my neck as each pass takes down enough hair to allow the next to occur without irritation and I'm not well shaved until I've done all four passes.

No doubt about it - you won't be able to stop buying and trying once you're hooked :D

Work on the neck before you start spending the cash. I say nail the shave before going nuts.... after that its fun.

Neck tips, longer prep time and let the soap soak in more and keep re-hydrating the lather, make sure you are following the grain and not using too much pressure, the neck can be far more sensitive then the cheek and chin areas.
