This is the TI from this thread re-done the way I like it for me, myself, and I...

    Original Factory; http://www.theshaveden.com/forum/showthread.php?t=16040

This is custom scaled in Molten Metal acrylic with a black acrylic wedge...

I took the mixed metal theme throughout the scales, the wedge and pivot pins and washers are layered in Brass and Silver with NiAg pins and triple stacked brass, SS, brass bullseyes...
The center pin is also bi-metal the pin is brass and the center post and outside conchos are silver...
Note the way the razor now sits pretty for pictures on the same glass base as it was on originally, the scales are now even and centered...

If you look very, very, close you can see that the TI rounded Spanish point has been squared up to a point that I like much better for more exact trimming...

The razor has now been honed on Naniwa SS through 12k and smoothed even more with 10 laps on a CeOx bench strop...

Glen, do you buy your acryllic with those patterns already mixed in, or are you able to melt and mix what ever colours and patterns you like?

Oh, by the way. I think you should send that razor back to TI and tell them, this is what a finished razor should look like.

That is really nice! Talk about Beauty and the Beast... You transformed that blade into a work of art. Great job!

  9. I REALLY like the scale material. It looks fantastic.
Personally, I'm not so much for the star effect on the center pin, but you did an amazing job on balancing the scales and it really looks nice.
I wish I could become a black belt in karate, I wish I could earn a doctorate in <something>, and I wish I could make scales like you. Great job man. Looks fantastic.

Nice looking razor, Glen. I have a similar TI and just love that blade.

Personally I find the scales a bit too multi-colored but the craftmanship is great as usual!

Amazing razor, especially the blade. I think the photos are significantly better this time.
