Rooney numbering system

    I noticed that Rooney brushes are identified by #/# then quality of badger.
    Would appreciate someone decoding for me.

  2. It's quite simple, really. The first number is the 'style' of the handle; the second number is the size of the knot (1= 22mm, 2= 24mm, 3= 26 mm). So it's style/size.

    Look up the Vintage Blades site for descriptions of the styles and the various other details of the sizes.

    Thanks for the info and links. From the reviews, Rooneys are highly regarded. Just received a rebate and thinking about upgrading my brushes from Vulfix pure and best badgers to the next level.
