Friday Shave Friday the 13th Grandpa Shave Razor: 1963 Gillette Slim Adjustable Blade: Astra Superior Platinum (shave # ??) Brush: Vulfix VS/5 Boar Soap/Cream: Cella Soap/Cream A/S: Dickinson’s Witch Hazel/Pinaud Clubman Vanilla splash It’s been awhile since I used the Slim, and I can’t remember how many shaves were already on the blade. The Cella produced a bountiful amount of creamy lather. I’m turning into a “Cella Fella”--great stuff. Anyway, the shave was smooth and relaxing and the blade, thankfully, seemed to be at its prime. The witch hazel followed by the Pinaud splash was a fine finish to an excellent shave.

Although I got a BBS shave, it is becoming clear to me that I simply favor 3 piece razors over TTO razors. In any case, the Mr. Taylor was a great finish.
