I.D. needed

Just came across this in a box. Wondering what it is, and if people still use whatever it is.

 

That looks like an Atra handle to me. I had one just like that when I was in high school.

I was hoping you would stick to the Vector thing. I have a Microtech Vector, and t would have been cool to have a Vector razor.

Oh well, so it is an Atra? Can blades to be had for them? If so, who the hell uses them?

That is the funniest s**t I have seen a long time.

 

I just couldn't resist. Back when I still used cartridges I switched back and forth between an Atra just like that one and a Sensor. I thought the Atra shaved well and I liked how heavy that handle was compared to the Sensor. Its probably been 15 years since I've used one though.

 

I reckon I this thing was my dads, 'cause I sure would never use it.

 

Bears a striking resemblance to my first razor, almost 20 years ago. (an Atra Plus)

 

Atras shave really well. You can get cartridges relatively cheap under the "Personna" name at Wal-Mart. A lot of people use them, and the handles go for $15-25 on eBay.

 

Well, if they go for that much on Ebay, I would sell it on TSD for $10, and that would include shipping.

 

That's a good price! I'm sure someone will take you up on it. I would but I already have an identical one.
