Can someone ID these two Gillette Razors for me. Picked them up for 3.00 each. The one on the right is a three piece and it looks like the blade gets bent into a curve when you tighten it up. Thanks

On the left is a Gillette Blue-tip Superspeed from the mid 1950s. On the right is a Gillette Ball-end Tech and it could be from the 40s 50s or 60s. Look for a date code underneath the head of each razor. The blue-tip is a very mild shaver and the Tech is almost as mild. I own specimens of each of them and they are among my favorite razors.

As stated, these are both mild shavers. The Blue-Tip was a mild version of the superspeed. Its counterpart (the red tip) is a more agressive version of the superspeed. The tech has a bad reputation for being overly mild. However, the older ones that don't have date codes give a great shave when paired with a sharper brand of blade.
